Established by owners Paul Brandon and Chris Harris in 2013 as a part time venture, Go Fish&Chips currently serve food in Berkshire villages three nights a week.
We were recently named as one of the UK’s 10 best mobile fish and chip operators by Fry Magazine, undergoing a rigorous testing process, marking us on more than 40 aspects of the business from the quality of the food and customer service to cleanliness and value for money.
The pass mark was set at 75 per cent and Go Fish&Chips scored 88% with the mystery diner particularly praising the van appearance, quality and consistency of food, menu choices, smart looking and professional staff and food that is freshly cooked to order. He added: ”It was a lovely piece of fish, flakey, moist, and the batter was not greasy. The chips were perfect, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside as proper chips should be,”
We make our own tartare and aioli sauces to perfectly complement our dishes. We responsibly source our fish (cod and haddock as standard) which are Marine Steward Council approved, and serve it fresh every time. If a piece of delicious crispy battered fish isn’t your thing, we also offer options such as fish cakes, sausages, veggie cakes, battered mushrooms and – of course – chips! Or, if you fancy a change to traditional chips (as delicious as they are, even if we do say so ourselves), we also serve zucchini fries.
With 25 years’ experience in the catering industry, we know what goes into making the perfect meal. We have the knowledge and professionalism that makes a successful business, and that’s not to mention our 5-star hygiene rating.
